Here are a few images from Cnoc Soilleir from the past week. Although known as the hill of bright light, this week it has also been the hill of heavy rain and high winds. These photographs highlight the great workmanship being undertaken and the progress made by Neil and his team in these testing conditions.

I'm delighted to announce that I've been commissioned to produce a series of images of Cnoc Soilleir during the construction of the building culminating in an exhibition at the newly opened centre. The images will capture the materials and process of the build, the beginning of a new chapter in the culture of South Uist. A joint venture between Ceòlas Uibhist and Lews Castle College UHI (LCC/UHI), Cnoc Soilleir (the bright hill) will be a centre for community-led activities
