I'd been working on this photograph earlier in the week with the intention of offering it as a print. As Storm Arwen brought the winter's first dusting of snow to Beinn Mhòr it seemed a good time to share the image. Taken on a windless afternoon in January. If you would be interested in purchasing one of only twenty editions of this print, please visit the An Solas Òir store here.
Following on from last week’s post, further images from last winter in in South Uist. Conditions like this produce enjoyable days for a landscape photographer. It has been interesting to revisit these images and to share for the first time.
Another wet and windy morning in Uist. I thought I'd look back to some completely different conditions earlier in the year where the landscape itself produced some wonderful optical effects. I have some ideas on printing these images and there are other images to share from this day on South Uist, all of which I'll share shortly.
