Black + White Photography interview

Black + White Photography magazine have a feature in the current issue on my photography for the Orasaigh book.

Following an interview earlier in the year the article has been published in the current issue of the magazine (302) and is available in all good newsagents and online with a worldwide distribution.

In the interview I discuss the origins of the project and the influence of Faye Godwin and Ted Hughes, the collaboration with Steve Ely, chasing images, the landscape of South Uist and more.

The magazine editorial begins with thoughts on artistic collaboration prompted by Orasaigh while later in the magazine the interviewer describes the book as groundbreaking, complex, unadorned yet beautiful and also says that the book rewards repeated returns.

The Orasaigh book launch takes place at Cnoc Soilleir on Thursday the 29th of May, copies of the book will be available along with unique exhibition prints ready to take away.
