As I type it is grey outside, mist hangs over Ben Kenneth and it is likely to stay that way for the rest of the day. The odds on seeing the sun on this solstice are long. Turning the clock back a few years, contrast today with some images from around midnight at Stoneybridge in South Uist as the sun slowly set.
