The last week has been full of planning for the November exhibition of Orasaigh at Taigh Chearsabhagh. Over the last year or more I have been taking photographs specifically for the Orasaigh collaboration, but from the beginning I have also been looking to photographs I already had of Orasaigh and the surrounding area that would work with the text. While working on the curation of these images about one island, another island kept appearing on my screens - Lingay.
Not far from Orasaigh, Lingay sits in the Sound of Barra and for those that know Eriskay, it is easily recognisable.
