In July I posted about the Uist Virtual Archaeology Project that I had been involved in with the UHI Outer Hebrides Archaeology Department. Since then the exhibition has been to, amongst others, the British Museum and the National Museum of Scotland.
In the recent annual awards from Archaeology UK, Uist Unearthed won awards for Archaeological Innovation and Public Dissemination / Presentation. This was followed by winning the overall ward for Outstanding Achievement!
It is great to have been involved in this remarkable project and congratulations go out to Becky, Emily and the team. Other ideas are being discussed for expanding the project next year which look very intriguing...
